Let's see here. A woman who committed an immoral sexual act OR a woman who wants the government to run every aspect of our lives, including the raising of children. I think the latter is FAR scarier.

Hilary is a "child's rights activist", she worked on emancipating children from there parents

and when you destroy the right of a parent to raise her child you destroy the family bond. When you do that you leave the government to raise the child and have only the state to brain-wash the child into whatever the state wants the children to believe.

This didn?t work so well for Romania, I?ve got a feeling it won?t work so well when a Hilary presidency attempts it.

Beyond being generally against what marks called "the step a society takes before becoming a communism"

Yep. If this radical left wing beotch is elected president I think I might leave the country. I can't imagine parents out there voting for her, unless they want their kid to be raised by bureaucrats. To me that would be the horror of all horrors as a child or as a parent.

Where can I read about how Hillary wants to remove parent's ability to raise their own children?

I think you mean "emancipating."

Hillary only emaciates those she's married to. ;)

I voted for Kerry this election. I won't vote for Hillary for two reasons:
- like her husband, there's not a sincere bone in her body
- like her husband, she doesn't understand the difference between being a leader and being a celebrity

Her socialistic views don't match up with my capitalistic views. Plus she was given eight years to do something in the whitehouse and she failed.

I'd rather not see her make it through the primarys. Better yet, maybe she won't even run.

It's about time both parties have some quality candidates. It would be nice to go vote for the better of the two.

That's retarded. This country has enjoyed its best years in recent memory under Clinton.

One doesn't have anything to do with the other. During Clinton the internet really took off. Clinton just happened to be in office. The possibilities seemed endless so companies began to pop up and become successful but they were over inflated. Then the reality of it all hit and the false bottom dropped out...under Clinton.

Now if you want Clinton to take credit for all that, whatever. But then Clinton also has to take credit for the fall.

What fall? You mean the one that happened under Bush? Clinton's policys my friend balanced the budget and made our economy worth investing in, which fed the growth of our economy all the way around. It wasn't just the tech sector that did well. When little Bush took over he immediately left fiscal responsibility at the door. Even more so than the recession or 9/11, it is Bush's borrow and spend mentality that has crippled our economy. He says social security needs reform. Its amazing how mush republicans say it needs reforming. Maybe if they stop borrowing money from it, maybe it won't need reforming so much. Lol, Clinton just happen to be there, yeah ok doofus.

Actually the fall began in 2000 prior to Bush's election (Clinton was still in office).

So even though the unemployment rate began to go up and the market began to fall in 2000 the real recession didn't start until Bush took office? Bush was in office for less than a year before the effect was really felt. Not long enough for him to have a negative impact. Had Gore been in office the result would have been the same. Like it or not, the downward trend started in 2000.

Excuse me, I thought people voted for those who do the best job. I thought good job results are a sign of a good leader. My fault, I see you need someone who makes you feel all warm fuzzy :cookie:

Your just plain goofy. You don't want to give Clinton any credit, as you said he was just there. But you want to blame him for the obvious failure of another guy sitting in after him. Despite the fact Clinton took over and inherited a far worse situation from the first Barren Bush. If your gonna argue or debate at least find something you can debate that makes sense. Clinton was a great President just accept that fact and move on.

You just plain aren't listening. I said Clinton didn't have anything to do with the success of the '90s. I also never said he had anything to do with the downturn in 2000. I said it was bound to happen. You just don't want to admit that it did happen during 2000.

broom, no point in arguing that message because it won't go through. The recession actually wasn't even going to be as bad as it was, but see this thing called 9-11 came and killed 3000+ people (involved in our markets) and lost 1mil jobs.
As for Hillary I am against much of what she stands for, I'm for small government.
If she ran in '08 I would like to see it against Rice.
As for bringing up sexism, I find both sexes different in all areas but neither better. Eg. Women > Socializers, Men > Spatial Reasoning, excepts of course.

So help me understand what you're trying to say. That 9/11 was the cause of the severe downturn?

Fact: tax cuts help the private sector
Fact: taxes where cut for capital gains during the Clinton administration by the republican congress
Fact: the market was ?irrationally exuberant? under the Clinton administration.

Fact: fear hurts markets
Fact: the terrorist attacks of 9/11 where directly followed by a loss of over 1 million jobs.
Fact: the market stopped being ?irrationally exuberant? under the Clinton administration

Fact: The fiscal actions of an administration take at least two years to directly effect the economy.
Fact: Time for bush policy had yet to have a chance to set-in when we hit a recession.

TLC says:

My personal theory is that Bill couldn't keep it in his pants because he was constantly trying to prove that his was bigger than Hillary's.

So that is why Bush won this time. Thanks, I was a little confused. I'm glad everyone agrees now!
