Nerdy aside.
I was going to pick up some Warhammer 40K figures. One of my friends was into it so I said what the hell. I head down to a local comic shop and no kidding. Dim lighting, a nd four fat guys sitting around a rickety wooden table hunched over warhammer figures, with conan the barbarian music playing in the background.
I was thinking if they got any more stereotypical I would have to bust out laughing. D&D P&P was great fun, I just never played much beyond high school. I think I tossed my 40k figures when my family shipped my leftover junk, and the figurines were pretty busted up. Those things aren't exactly cheap either.
Only the Lightning Bolt people scare me, I can tolerate everyone else. They peak out the Nerd-O-Meter even for my tastes. But they are having fun and in the end, that's what it's all about.
