I would expect the XP 1600+ @ 1600MHz to beat the celery in most real world benchies but I bet it ain't gonna be by much. My problem is I have never owned a AMD system yet but when their .13u chips come out I think I am going to defect

I only want a good stable platform not a gaming behemouth that every so often locks up on me or crashes you know.
Yeah I am sure I am calling out the wolves with that statement but I have been told by many a AMD zeolots that the AMD 760 chipset is the way to go for any one really concerned about absolute stability and I have owned a VIA chipset before and it scared the PISS outa me.
I couldn't find any reason for my system to be crashing at stock speed. RMA'd it to get a BX board and all was well. It is shi# like that makes you not wanna switch you know. I would be writting a paper or using molecular modeling software and all of a sudden BAM it would go. Yes I did set it up right it was something about that board and maybe VIA is changing for the better which I am sure they are but I will not use a VIA Northbridge board. Not even the KT266a. I would rather use the 760 but that is me. Now if all I did was surf and game the KT266a would most likely blow my top but I am not so I want stability but I want it too be quick about it
Hopefullywe will see a AMD 770 chipset but I have heard from many it is going to be vaporware. Would also like to see the south bridge made by AMD too but I guess even AMD finds a way to bend you over sometimes too eh.
