'Cuz some of us need to forget about our evil ex-GF's and don't want the emotional baggage of another life-draining relationship.

Personally I've never figured out why go spend money on girls like that in a strip club when you could take out a girl that you are interested in. The money that you'd be spending in the club could get you on the way to that at home much quicker. And IMHO I'd rather spend the money on a girl I liked then on a girl in a club for one night of "dancing."

Are you trying to be sensible? Now that's not allowed at ATOT!!!

Bad, very bad!

Can someone explain to me the point of going to a strip club?

I am turned on by girls on the Internet or just in magazines, so I know I'm not gay :) However, just watching them dance and move, but not being able to touch (or do more, wink-wink), is annoying. So why go there and see those mostly perfect ladies, when you can't have one?!

P.S. I'm 25 years old and NOT a virgin, nor do I wank off to the PC World magazine.

(Don't get me wrong, I have no issues with nudity or with selling it like this, I just don't see how it can be enjoyable in an environment like a strip club).

I don't get this either. As a girl, i am wondering WHY someone with a real-live woman would go to one and not take that time with their chicks. Hell, why not ask them to do that for you..at least at the end, you can get something out of it. Hell, if my man asked me to strip or whatnot, i would. It jsut seems kind of dumb, but then again, i ma not male.

PS, i have not desire to go see nekkid men dance around either

Okay, here's my serious answer since I've had to explain this to my wife. For me at least, its the experience as a whole rather than just some kind of pathetic unrequited fantasy about the girls or a need to escape your SO. It's kinda like going to a football game: you eat out, you drink, you talk some trash and just generally let your Y chromosome off its leash for a while. I mean, the girls are nice to look at and all, but it's really not any kind of "erotic" experience. Furthermore, unless you're as dense as a brick, it's painfully obvious that they don't really like you much either.......unless you happen to be spending gobs of money, in which case they suddenly love you.

In short, they're fun once in a while for someone's bachelor party or whatever, but that's about it. They are what they are and people who take them too seriously are creepy.

I have a problem with a woman trying to shake and jiggle her parts around me for a dollar. I don't have the problem about the shaking and jiggling, just that its for a dollar. It seems really degrading to have someone do that for a dollar. Maybe I should go to a high class joint, but don't see the use in it. I just come home to the wife and have her do her little strip tease. :)

It's sometimes cheaper to get in their pants than someone who does not take their clothes off for money....been there done that. Most of them do have emotional and mental problems though...but they are fun in the sack..just make sure you wrap the rascal before you go diving...I normally made back my covercharge by hustling pool anyways.

Exactly. It's an atmosphere thing. The music, the women, the beer, the lighting, watching the pathic bums on titty row that are completely glazed over watching the woment, ect. It's just an experience like no other. Hell, I don't think I've even had any sort of arrousal whenever I went to a strip club. It's just an experience that you can't really describe well without actually having done it.

Women don't understand it...but us men don't understand all the hooplah about a bridal shower and the wedding stuff either.

Bachelor party. Watching someone you know get spanked on-stage by strippers is always good for a laugh. For years! :D

I personally prefer the strip clubs in Canada. I'll never forget the first time I went to Montreal, we went to this one place, the girl comes up to me and asks if I would like a private dance. I asked her how much, she says "$5 to look, $10 to touch. I quickly did a little math and figured with the exchange rate, the $10 option was really a hot deal. Where else can you grope and fondle a young hot chick for the price of a #2 at McDonalds? Gotta love our neighbors to the North.
