*sigh* I work with technology. There are only 10 women in the office that I can think of:

1. Receptionist - not bad looking and the only one in the office who has ever worn a dress.
2. Not sure if she is a girl or a guy?
3. She would look better if she was a guy.
4. Cute Asian girl - she wears jeans and t-shirts. (I think she is hiding because we never see her.)
5. Indian girl - nice face but a little too heavy for my taste.
6. Older woman who was probably not bad looking 10 years ago.
7. Plain looking girl - so plain I can't even remember what she wears.
8. Woman who sits in the corner and never comes out. Not bad looking but looks like she had a few too many big Macs.
9. Woman they just hired. Looks like someone's Mom.
10. Nice body and plain face. Dressed like a slut (no bra, no underwear) and as smart as a box of rocks. Never wore a dress but you could see her butt crack when she wore a pair of jeans. She no longer works here.

Edit: Also I have a friend who looks 100x hotter in short hair than she did with long hair. Different things work for different women.

I'm just bitter because my wife is always cold, so she usually wears jeans unless it's like 90 out.

Get her to see a doctor. Being cold all the time is often caused by somewhat serious medical problems. My mom is always cold because she is anemic. I'm always cold due to blood sugar problems (terribly low metabolism = cold skin).

I like a lady in executive style pants, but a dress is better. However, most women have horrendous, sickening physiques so that is probably a key reason why so few wear dresses these days. Chances are they are either less than 20 years old or quite overweight and growing seemingly on a daily basis larger.

I am an engineer....this was true when I worked for other engineering companies....

Now I work for an Engineering AND Science firm. Women wise, it's so much better:awe:.

Orange wire on thermostat when shorted to the red wire would send power to the reversing valve solenoid in the cooling season. This way (heat pumps) failed to heat in case the wire opened up or the valve/solenoid was bad. Failing in cooling mode is not smart practice. Granted supplementary heat (strips or fossil fuel) SHOULD be able to provide sufficient heat even if cooling mode is ON it's just plain dumb to make it that way.

Erm no.

Different brand thermostats are arranged differently. A thermostat i wired up on the weekend had no wires, till i wire it up.

Perhaps the thermostats on your ship are set up this way?

But this has nothing to do as to why women dont wear dresses no more
