Why don't women wear dresses or skirts anymore???

There's a woman at my workplace who often wears skirts/dresses. I think she is French (certainly has the accent), so maybe that's why?

my g/f wears skirts and dresses often, especially in the summer.
probably twice as often as shorts.

I was gonna post but I might as well just quote this. I too love dresses on a woman, unfortunately I almost never see them (northern Michigan here FWIW).

I prefer short shorts, and I see lots of girls wearing them, so I don't see why you're complaining.

Fair question.

I work in a professional environment. I use to wear a tie every day but the work environment has changed to business casual. I like to wear ties. I wear dress pants, well shined shoes and a white shirt every day. I'm not sure you could say my hair is "coiffed" but I always keep it neat.

Where do you live? Where I'm at, most women wear dresses and skirts or short shorts.
