Why don't they sale the very small and economical cars that they sell in Europe here in the US? Gas Price related. . .

Same reason Deisel cars don't sell over here... Americans like smooth and comfy cars.

modern diesel cars are actually as nice and as comfy as gasoline cars, and its more economical

the only problems here are the enviromental issue (diesel pollutes more than gas), lack of diesel pumps, and customer bias against diesel cars because of poor diesel performance in the past
