Why doesn't Tom Brady get the credit he deserves?

2 Time Super Bowl MVP, having his best statistical season yet with over 4,000 passing yards, gets NO MVP Consideration. Forget Manning or Palmer, Brady is the best QB in the league. It's a disgrace he doesn't get any mention in the MVP balloting.

Brady 3888 passing yds 23 TD 12 int 93.3 qb rating

Palmer 3782 passing yds 32 TD 12 int 101.4 qb rating

Manning (Peyton) 3742 passing yds 28 TD 10 int 104.3 qb rating

Palmer and Manning are as good or better.

Tom Brady gets plenty of credit and the Pats get too much credit for a mediocre season

I wouldn't say Brady gets no recognition, nobody I know thinks of Brady as a subpar quarterback. However, when you compare him to Manning it is quite clear that Manning is the better all-around quarterback. The Patriots are largely successful for their team game, in addition to Brady's well-rounded play and that is why he doesn't get MVP consideration. Peyton can literally carry his team on his back when needed.

Brady is not the best QB in the league. Palmer is.

Hardly, Manning is better than Palmer. Palmer is having a HUGE season and the Bengals will go deep in the playoffs. They will lose though and choke against good teams as the did in the regular season.

If McNabb was healthy, he would have had the best season. He'd be at about 4500 yards, with 30 TDs and 16 INTs. Probably more, if he hadn't sucked it up after getting the hernia and myriad other injuries.

Not without TO and with the drama TO brought to the team/organization.

He'll be fine next year, without TO. TO is a pain in the ass, and not even that great of a receiver.. he seems to have alligator arms pretty often. His main advantage is his size.

Man oh man where to begin...

Palmer---Please, I think McGhee is still running back that interception for a TD

Manning--Yes Nice Stats, 0 rings

Brady--He HAS carried the team this season despite all the injuries and such. He is easily the MVP (whether he wins it or not is a joke)

Edit:

McNabb--5 letters...NAACP 😛

He will be fine next season, so will the Eagles, but there was no way they were going to make anything out of this season.

Please jump off the band wagon. Brady gets enough credit but he doesn't deserve the MVP. He is leading his team becuase that is what he should be doing, he is the QB. Everyone is always quick to point out the injuries and play the "what if" game and swear the Pats would win again "if"....

Injuries happen, get the fvck over it already.

Oh believe me I am quite over it, as the Patriots begin the steamroller for the play offs. I think this will be the ultimate show of "who is better" if they do win it this year.

Oh and besides injuries, how about losing both your OC and DC? Uhh..yeah

That is nothing. If Marc Bulger of the St. Louis Rams didn't get hurt against the Colts, he would of had a record breaking season. He would have went over 4500 yards, 50 touch downs, and the most completions ever topped with the best accuracy. Too bad he got hurt.

Tell me you are joking. 4500 yards? Without any decent wideouts? Put down the pipe, sir.

Um... he had 2507 yards in about 8.5 games.

I agree here, if Bulger played all of the Rams' games he would have put up some strong numbers.
