While Costco's pizza aren't the best pizzas, it's dammed near impossible to beat the quality for the price. 18" pie for $9.99? Hell, I don't think you can make one at home for that price... I've seen people buying them for years, but never tried one...until last year. Now, probably 90% of the pizza we buy is from Costco.
(unfortunately for me, my wife is lactose intolerant, so we don't have pizza very often anymore)

Ok it's a good value but it's crap. It's like getting in on McDonalds deals. Seriously. Pizza hut with a coupon isn't even that much more, and I'd rather have decent pizza than crap pizza.

I spend $15 a pie at my local coal burning pizza place, no comparison to any other pizza place around. Other local mom and pop places charge $12/pie or 2 for $20, and I guess you can get deal with pizza hut or dominos, but that shit isnt even pizza, its just a waste of money.

Papa Johns is the same way, $17+ for a large if you don't use coupons. And that's a Papa John's large, otherwise known as a medium back in the day.

Digorno sucks. I bought one a few weeks back, and it tasted like cardboard. Their quality has gone way down. Another vote for Costco pizzas, which are decent. But pizza hut has the best pizzas period.

It's damn near impossible to not beat Costco's pizza. Hell up the street from me you get 2 Flying Saucer pizzas, they're either 26 or 28 inches, an order of wings and a 2 liter of soda for $28. If you find a hole in the wall mom and pop place you can get pizza for next to nothing. We ordered it last month and 3 times the pizza from Costco, and tasted much better. Oh and you don't have to cook it yourself. Costo pizza is horrible, I'd almost rather eat Dominoes, they suck balls, but at least they have the Bacon Cheese Burger pizza, which is much better than any of their other pizzas.

I wonder if anyone has had the Freschetta frozen pizzas? They're higher quality than DiGiorno but a little more expensive. I really like them. They even have a sauce stuffed crust. Really good.

Coal burning? You get a side of black lung with that? Do you mean wood burning? I can't imagine cooking pizza with coal.

Buy one Pizza Mia with two toppings and add a P'zone for $1. Total is $9.99 and about $15 including delivery and tax. That's what I usually do.

costco / sam's club pizza is better than dominoes at any price. Pizza hut has it's place but costco/sam's pizza is much more worth it. Personally I prefer Papa Murphy's

Pizza Hut has the best pizza period? Maybe if you don't have Papa John's, Papa Murphy, or any good local mom & pops...

For instance.... Jet City Pizza. A Pizza Mart. CanAm Pizza. All decent and better than Pizza Hut. But Papa Murphy's is better than all those.

I gave them a couple tries. They are better quality ingredients - you can tell, but it is way too much bread and way too little ingredients. Not worth it.

Is this the supreme? It's quite tasty and better than Papa Johns. The trick is not to overcook it. I find 19 mins instead of the recommended 22-24 mins is perfect. Then even the crust is edible.

I can go to the local Grocery store and buy 2 large Digorno's for $5 each

So why didnt you? And then add $8 for the frozen wings. And then preheat your oven for 15 minutes. Then cook the pizza. Then turn on your deep fryer (if you have one). Then fry your wings.

Good luck getting that frozen sodium pie evenly heated, and better luck getting everything to the table warm... should only take a couple of hours and a bunch of cleanup after.

I really dont understand people that complain about food prices from restaurants. Yes, they charge more than what they pay for it. WOW they make a profit, shame on them for trying to stay in business!!!

You're not only paying for the ingredients; you're paying for the employees' wages, marketing, etc.

On that note, I'd say get the 5-5-5 deal from Dominos and add on some wings.

Bigger question is why Dominos is still in business... it's the worst chain store and none of the chain stores compare to mom & pop pizza places
