Why does everybody hate country music?

Anyway, I listen to country only rarely, when it is forced upon me by someone else. Not that I really hate it (dislike isn't quite as intense as hate), but there are many other things that I prefer better.

Country is just bastardized blue grass. Same as rock & roll's evolution from blues. I like rock better than blues, but blue grass better than country. A lot of country has crossed over, like Lynard Skynard and The Eagles. Can't say they suck!

Agreed - I didn't actually mean cross breed in the racial sense. I think I meant to say "intra-family" breeding Or, Cross-breed in the sense of a hybrid human and farm animal. Either one works.
