Exactly.

Sometimes when I listen to the local classic rock station I cringe because there are some things that should be played on the country channels. I do like some country-twinged rock but seriously, country music sucks hardcore.

I'm not a big fan of country music, but there are a few songs which I really enjoy.

Especially, Sara Evans - I Could Not Ask for More. (Yes, I know it is a cover.)

There really are two different country music styles. One is the sappy, whiny stuff while the other really resembles pop.

I like the older C&W, Bluegrass and Rock-a-Billy(Stray Cats). Most of the newer Country 3/10.

Lets not forget Tex-Mex music....Yeee Haaa.

i see your point, but to me its still all the same. the music doesnt really sound like country anymore to me. a few artists have kept the sound.

You guys would all hate my 11:15 class on MWF, then. History of Country Music. I needed a 3-hour humanities class and knew the teacher that was teaching it. I'm not a huge fan, but I don't think it's really all that bad.
