Angry Eminem is the best, followed closely by Funny But Still Angry Eminem.

The Pakistani rapping shit had to go.

I guess I'm the only one not buying the hardcore gangsta bit. Guy is nearly 40 years old and a multimillionaire it's okay to hang up the whole bit.

Uhhh, he's not a gangsta. I guess you consider him gangsta because he sounds angry a lot? If that's the case then Dennis Leary's also "gangsta"

As far as gangsta he doesn't rap about shooting people or selling drugs. I think you're confused at what Eminem raps about. Regardless of being a millionaire he still has some personal issues that are bothering him. Which just goes to show money doesn't always buy happiness. I don't think he's an act in any way, the anger he displays in his some of his lyrics is very genuine.

He's rich...he's successful...he's famous...he is loved by his fans...what's there to be happy about?

Fuck, I'm surprised he hasn't killed himself yet.

Actually it's more like lulz.

That's from 2001, probably was written before he got famous when he actually was a gansta.

edit: I swear some of the yelling samples right before the song starts are in Civilization 4 when you take over a city, lol.

He was famous before that, but he has always been one part ridiculous and 1 part gangsta. Even in his latest album, he's got the funny songs and the gangsta crap too. No love is the gangsta stuff. Gangsta rap is all about "I'm the best there is, I'll kill you if you try to kill me" and that's the stuff he's been doing since day one. Talent or not, it gets redundant. At least he has talent though, beats that Ludicrous BS.

I think you need to learn what "gangsta" is.

Personally, I love his "angry" songs better, because those tend to be about things that have troubled him in life, and thus he has TRUE emotion about. The Slim Shady stuff from his last album sucked in comparison, and the songs he sings to be true to himself and his life experiences are by far his best. The Real Slim Shady was good, however. His emotion really comes through in his songs, such as Mockingbird, which he writes to his daughters, or if you haven't heard "The Warning," you can sense his true emotion in that song.

EXACTLY why I like him, his last album he wrote for the "mainstream," AKA he seemed to write more for what would be a pop song that would sell.... guess what, he called himself out, and called that album "Ehh" in one of his latest songs.

He doesn't play around, he doesn't deal with the bullshit, or play into the pressures that other people do, and that's why he's in a league of his own in many respects.

Uh, the stuff on Relapse was NOT Slim Shady stuff.
