yep. It's actually pretty interesting how he did that. the songs sung as Eminem/Marshall Mathers are usually the "angry" ones while the joke/goofy songs are where he uses the slim shady persona. I kinda like it, however it seems he may not be doing that anymore.

His two most recent albums, relapse and recovery, are definitely more serious and dealing with his personal issues, hence why hes kinda stuck to the eminem persona.

Who knows if he'll revert back to the slim shady persona, as that was at the height of his popularity when he was easy going and was really hitting chords with teen angst around the US.

Very true, well except the other 500 CD/Vinyl I have from other artists who don't do either thing you mentioned. The fact that most rap isn't what I bolded is probably over your head.

Nobody lives in the part of Detriot Em grew up in because they want to. It's all his family could afford I'd imagine. While no person is stopping them, there are circumstances that are. Not everyone can afford to move, the majority of the US population isn't rich like the average ATOT. I mean this board is full of people who could lose their job tomorrow and still live comfortably off for a few years without getting another job just off the $200k they have in the bank.
