I don't support Bush. I don't like him, I think he's an idiot. Personally, I don't give a damn about WMD's, and in Bush's stead I'd have simply stated that Saddam is a tyrant with the blood of millions of Iraqis on his hands and that he should and will be deposed and the Iraq people given a free, democratic government and some education in how to build a nation and economy based on individual liberty and the peaceful exchange of value for value.

Do you seriously believe that any country in the world with the means to attack us wants to do so? Iraq fell into this category? I think not. And you see what happens when you get a huge influx of "new" people investing? It created a bubble and everyone and their brother became a broker or a "web programmer". Those times are done and we are back to reality. Stock ownership was up in 2002 compared to 1999. Look it up. I couldn't find 2003 numbers in a quick search but I would assume they went down because some people pulled those investments and went to real estate. It'd be interesting to see the dynamics of that shift in investments to see where investors are in terms of numbers.
