The sad part is that most normal people are against cruelty to animals, and I definitely believe in protecting animals..... But PETA are a bunch of extremist wacko vegan terrorists that ruin it and give anyone who loves animals a bad name. All PETA members should be flogged.

1) People should have something better to do with their lives. At 2 PM, I am at work, not holding up picket signs!
2) I bust my butt day in and day out to provide for my family and seeing people like PETA people drives me nuts.
3) We are the top of hte food chain.
4) It's a sad state when people worry more about animals than people.
There extremists. Now I may get flamed for this and I don't care. As of now we have more important things to worry about. Animal rights issues are dwarfed by domestic problems, debt, etc. I don't think now is the time to focus on animals.

I agree that there is some cruel things being done to animals like chickens being tortured with electricity to produce more eggs, cows being herded into tiny areas with nearly no movement all their lives, etc.
However I strongly disagree with what PETA feels has to be done; I don't want to be a vegetarian or blow up buildings.
What I would like to see is a group that works to make commercial farms more animal friendly and that's it. No firebombing, no required vegetarianism, etc...

Thats probably the best answer right there.
They found that PETA actually killed MORE animals last year than they actually SAVED.
If that's not hypocritical...I don't know what is.

like many eco groups, they may seem to support somewhat reasonable goals at times. but their actual position is very very extreme. such as that pets should have rights blah blah.."ownership" is like slavery... that no one should eat a scrap of meat. so basically reaching compromise on a reasonable issue is not possible with such extreme agendas. and yes, eco terror and such, people that do harm in the name of good. whether intentional, or unintentional consequences of their actions. they are bizare niave religious whacks that somehow believe mother nature is wonderful and human beings have no right to really exist. they never look at the fundamental natural cruelty that exists in nature.

Because they are a bunch of hypocritical terrorists who say one thing then do another. They are too high and mighty to eat a hamburger, but wont think twice about firebombing your house. They are no different than the Taliban who supported Al Qaeda. The government should go after them and shut them down.
