So Thorin, considering you seem rather pissed about microsoft software, what do you suggest as an alternative to Microsofts feature laden bloatware?
Again I haven't suggested that people shouldn't use MS Bloatware. I simply think MS could follow some better design/implementation practices.

If you need an alternative consider any version of Linux with any windowing system and/or wine.
so what exactly was being implied here then.
Hmmmm what's being implied here????? Well it appears that what's being implied there is that Linux and a windowing system can be less bloated then MS Windows.

Is that a simple enough summary for you?

Also you were trying to make some point earlier about porting code between *Nix's, code is extremely easily ported between them.....so what?

Thorin

well its obvious we touched a nerve...

Its also obvious that you're either too stubborn to conceed anything, or are so bitter about OSes that you'll never admin MS has done anything correctly, ever.

So with that, i give up on this thread.

If people make reasonable and founded arguements I'm not opposed to conceeding any point on any topic
or are so bitter about OSes that you'll never admin MS has done anything correctly, ever.
Actually I do admin some MS systems currently. And I never denied that there aren't some things they do well or could do well, I've only said that there are alot of things I (and alot of others) feel they could do better.
So with that, i give up on this thread.
That's kewl...we're way way way off topic anyway.

Thorin

Thanks for turning this thread into an OS Fanboy Pissing Match
