Yo,
Disclaimer: I am Asian in California, so know "ricers" better than most.
I don't mind ricer cars per se, it's the people I dislike.
In California of the 1990s, before the recent economic recession, the "ricer" culture became part of the overall materialistic Asian lifestyle I find abhorrent. People in their 20s and 30s living with their parents so they can spend more money on ephemeral pursuits: cars, expensive watches, jewelry, restaurants, clothes. Education and independence seem relatively lacking by comparison to previous generations and other ethnic groups, and an unusual propensity for ghetto slang.
To top it off, they drive like morons, which results in higher insurance premiums for the rest of us.
