Why do most people in here seem to hate 'ricers'? (rant?)

So far as I am concerned people are free to do all of the stupid ass VISUAL things to their car they would like.

NOW, when it comes to the modded exhaust, thats when I start to feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE the fart pipe exhaust on the riced cars.

which crx are you talking about?

the first crx they had on import tuner, that was a real car

wasn't too much vinyl, nothing crazy, just mad engine work

something like 200hp to the wheels

ricer vs tuner....
ricers usually work from outisde to in. (exterior mods first...)
tuner, in n' out (drool :p )

both usualy talk sh!t but the tuner has the stuff to back his sh!t talking
but i dunno, there's a lottttta definitions out there...choose one. :)
remember looks isn't everything.

I believe that "ricers" came from the Harley style motor cycle riders giving the Japanese sport bikes the nickname "Rice Rockets". Wasn't neccessarily a put down and didn't say anything about the rider. But that moved into people doing things to cars that should be (and quite often is) outlawed.
