Erm, baffled, think of the sheer richness here. She posts a thread complaining, MB here responds with the same sort of stuff that she hears from the men she's attracted to, and on the surface it seems as if he's simply putting her down and being a jackass like everyone else she is complaing about. BUT, look closer. You'll see that there is no real malice in the thread but carefully obscured meaning that is meant to shock and provide a sound answer. It's sort of an explanation + advice mixed into the response of an arse. The kicker here is that an arse would not be likely to even begin saying something like that, by accident, or on purpose. It's sound reasoning mixed into her frustration. Don't you see the beauty of the opposites merged into one? It's like eating chocolate; so sweet and yet so bitter.

You may well be right, but I don't like to divine into the nature of the why in a forum like this. I just noticed what seemed to be two conflicts mixed into one post. On the one hand, it was a flame, and on the other it had some insight which is typically absent in a flame. By the words alone, I thought that there was more than meets the eye, without attempting to discover the intent of the poster.

But again, that's just my take on this, either way, I wanted to try and diffuse some of the emotions here.

Eakers, I neither "like" nor "dislike" anything in this thread. I was just trying to point something out that didn't make much sense to me in an effort to understand what people (in this case, you) are saying.
