ask her out. why? because you want to go out with her. if she says no? her loss, on to the next. if she says yes? then you have problems.

in person. why? harder for her to say no in person. it's hard to say no. especialy in hs. if you are direct and ask her specificly on a date for a time that she does not have any previous plans, it will be very hard for her to say no. you MUST make a good impression on the first date, and make it as romantic as possible.

make the move. NOW. confidence is the key. if you don't have it, FAKE IT! not by showing off, or being an ass. you show confidence by going for what you want with all you've got.

Ask in person always. Its not like you'll be the first person to be burned in history and she'll appreciate it more than if you did it online.
