Look at it this way. You gave it a shot. You went out there and did it, instead of sitting at home and just thinking about asking her. Everyone gets rejected, you just gotta keep trying.

What about being persistent? How well does that work? Or would that just annoy her and put a bad taste in her mouth when she thinks of you? I don't mean hammering her with the question once every day, but whenever an opportunity arises?

If all else fails, take it out for some fresh air in front of her, lol 😛

i mean, try to act as if it wasn't too big a deal. say hi and smile when you see her. try to have the normal conversations that you had before.

if you start off avoiding eye contact and feeling mortified around her, it'll be very hard to be comfortable around her again.

think of it like in years to come, it could be a funny story between you guys, if you remain friends.

it's not like she rejected your marriage proposal.

anyways, just forget about her and mack on other girls.

You won't remember anybody that you had a crush on at 15 anyways.

SERIOUSLY, don't worry about it. you probably hate to hear this, but you're so young that you'll laugh about it later. having the courage to ask girls out in HS is a GOOD thing. don't worry about being rejected. just think of it as practice for when you get to college 😀
 
see, guys always think that we have to look out for abstract signals from girls to know if they like us when in fact its pretty easy.

If a girl is in to you, she'll let you know.

she'll flip her hair a lot, touch you coyly, laugh at your jokes even though they aren't that funny, try to build on what you are talking about in a conversation.


If she doesn't do this, she's not in to you.

example: if you tell a joke and she laughs hard and then lightly slaps your knee, you are in. That laugh is an excuse for her to touch your knee.

counterexample : if you say something like " that new ocean's 12 movie looks pretty good"

and she answers with " I'm not really in to sequels" , she is not in to you.

a girl who is in to you will reply with something more along the lines of " yeah I liked the first one and wanted to go see the second one but I don't like going to the movies alone"

Ok...so find a new one and ask her out. Figure...1 out of every 100 girls you ask out, is going to say yes. Get started on the century mark.
