The Captain was Charles Burlingham the 3rd. Graduate of the Naval Academy in '71.
When I was stationed in Iceland my XO was Lieutenant Commander Burlingham the fourth. Cant remember his first name but I coulda sworn I heard someone talk about his father Charlie in a hushed voice once.

Smoke rising from the streets before collapse - debris fell off of a skyscraper that was hot... hundreds of feet, to the ground... massive electrical shorts wouldve also damaged the generators and wiring in the building, possibly causing fires in the basement.

And you blow off the thoughs of the late Dennis Weaver which I'd posted above. He was a strong environmental and political activist, as well as an actor, and his little essay was relevant here, and was properly cited and linked in my post and not, as you put it, ?ripped off.? Discussion can be more constructive when we all refrain from making wild charges like that.
