Depends on the person really.

Here pretty much everyone is tanned, except the ones who hide indoors. I use plenty of sunscreen, but i'm very tanned (i also spend plenty of time outside and at the beach all year round i guess 😉)

Pale white just screams 'nerd' or 'fatty' to me i guess, since just walking around outside in a normal daily basis here is enough to give you a mild tan. To stay white you've really really got to be making an effort, or you like the indoors life waiii too much for me to find you attractive 😉

Yeah, i guess we do basically all live on the coast, and the climate in Perth means i wore a t-shirt, boardies and thongs all year round as a student 😱

Tanning is one of the factors of APS

My GF is hot, and not only because she

* has never went tanning,

* never dyed her hair,

* does not marvel over gucci, fendi, etc. the only reason she has a coach and a prada bag is because I bought them for her

Not everyone likes em big, and not everyone equates small with ugly. For me it's EXACTLY the opposite. The bigger the uglier, the smaller the better. There's nothing sexier than an A or B cup to me. You could call me a freak, but then you'd have to explain the millions of members of 'small breast' focus adult sites and groups.

I can't stand tanning. I personally think it's the most rediculous thing on the planet. "Ohhh gee, I am going to sit in the sun, let my skin cook, then in 20 years I'll look like an old pair of gym shoes as my skin is nasty, wrinkly, and leathery". While living in FL I saw too many 40 year old women who looked like that old hag from "Something about Mary".

My wife already has had cancer and my family has a predisposition to skin cancer. I'll keep my Norse skin pale and encourage my wife to do the same.

You're right - you can get burned. At the higher elevations on the islands in the lower latitudes the solar index reaches into the double digits and light colored skin burns very fast.
