Why does the left care so much about right wing commentators?

You gonna post that in every thread?

They worry about Rush, Hannity, ORielly and Beck yet these people have no control over their lives, they could care less what Obama, Pelossi, Reed, Dudd and Frank are doing.

Don't forget they also support free speech.
You may have a point here. Less free speech would cut down on your drivel.

You are a perfect example of a liberal, supports free speech as long as it's something that you agree with.

Thanks for making my point.

Yep, you drove me to it. I guess I'll have to call myself a conservative now that I want to restrict your rights.

You have quite an effect on people - not positive and not really negative - just makes one want to take a long shower.

You're an inspiration to your kind.

Nope, just the ones where the left is obsessing over conservative commentators. Wait, I guess that is every thread.

Looks like Pastor Warren is a puss.

After getting caught in a lie, Pastor Warren runs and hides.

Warren cancels ABC appearance
By: Mike Allen
April 12, 2009 09:19 AM EST

Pastor Rick Warren, after making apparently contradictory statements about his stance on a gay-marriage measure, canceled an Easter Sunday appearance on ABC?s ?This Week? just ?moments before the scheduled interview,? host George Stephanopoulos told viewers.

Stephanopoulos said Warren?s representatives said the best-selling evangelical author was ?sick with exhaustion.? The host told viewers that he wished the pastor a speedy recovery.

Warren?s appearance would have given him the chance to clear up his claim last week on CNN?s ?Larry King Live? that he ?never once ? gave an endorsement? to California?s Proposition 8, a successful November ballot measure that banned gay marriage in the nation?s largest state.

Here?s what Warren said in an endorsement video, now on YouTube: ?We support Proposition 8. And if you believe what the Bible says about marriage, you need to support Proposition 8. ? I urge you to support Proposition 8, and pass that on. ? Everybody knows what I believe about it.? http://tr.im/iCnk

Here?s what Warren said on Larry King: ?I am not an anti-gay or anti-gay marriage activist. I never have been, never will be. During the whole Proposition 8 thing, I never once went to a meeting, never once issued a statement, never ? never once even gave an endorsement in the two years Prop 8 was going. The week before the ? the vote, somebody in my church said, Pastor Rick, what ? what do you think about this? And I sent a note to my own members that said, I actually believe that marriage is ? really should be defined, that that definition should be ? say between a man and a woman. And then all of a sudden out of it, they made me, you know, something that I really wasn't. ? I wrote to all my gay friends ? the leaders that I knew ? and actually apologized to them. That never got out. There were some things said that ? you know, everybody should have 10 percent grace when they say public statements.?

Apparently that fat piece of sh!t was exhausted from lying so much. Or perhaps this is an example of "purpose-driven lying?" Or maybe "what would Jesus lie about?"

Not that it matters at this point, but he said that he equates gay marriage with a brother and sister marrying. He did not say he equates gay marriage with incest or pedophilia.

Not that it matters, but you're confusing me. How is equating gay marriage to sibling marriage not equating it with incest? Sex is implicit in a marriage contract. In fact, refusal to have sex is grounds for divorce.

Kinda like arguing that "pushed him off the cliff" isn't the same as saying "killed him" because there's a chance the fall won't kill the person.

I understand what you are saying, but my take was that he was equating preserving the definition of marriage as it is, and to allow gays to marry would be the same as allowing incestuous partners to marry as both are not allowed to marry under the definition of ... well, the way marriage used to bedefined.

For the record I didn't know who this guy was until now, although i had heard of his books.
