If the USSR was so good why did so many try to leave it? You didn't see too many people sneaking into East Germany. It also fractured into quite a few countries. Fracturing usually doesn't happen if everyone is happy
 
Because when the Soviet Union has power over Germany, there have been banned drugs, prostitution, alcoholism. Some could not live without it - they ran away into the capitalist Berlin. In the east were very nice people. In the world there are many people addicts and criminals, it was hard to live in socialist countries, because we have them jailed.

Poland absolutely sucked during communism. Any wealth that was there was sucked out of the country by the Moscow elite. People there were unhappy and impoverished, everywhere. Only after the eastern bloc collapsed was Poland able to rise out of the ashes as a rather successful capitalist country, and they're still growing strong today.
 
Others are very afraid of communism, because long-term false propaganda to scare them. They thought that they put in a crematorium that would avenge the Nazis. Of course it was not true, but they believed and fled.

Da, tovarisch! The officials in the Kremlin were certainly treated exactly the same, no closed stores open only to them to sell those debauched Western goods. They absolutely followed a rule of law, nobody ever went missing in Soviet Russia, and certainly nobody was ever brutally tortured. The Tu-144 was an excellent demonstration of Soviet engineering, it managed an impressive 55 passenger flights before being halted for safety concerns. It must have been the fault of those Western dogs! With regards to education, if the education was of very high quality, why did the country collapse? This confuses me, comrade, please explain. As for the consumption of vodka, you must have confused your pansy Russians with the great men of the Soviet Union, for whom vodka was often treated as water! It was not the economic treatment of other countries that undid Mother Russia - it was the policies of its dictatorial government.

It was a bit more dangerous than conventional aircraft because supersonic, very difficult. But we have banned it, because the safety of people is much more important. Concord is not banned, because greed for money and fame was more about people.

Collapsed because the Soviet Union was an economic blockade against all the capitalist countries. There were more, almost the entire developed world.
