I dont get why everyone knocks New Jersey. I was born and raised there. I grew up in a town called Mount Laurel (right next to Moorestown - voted top place in America to live). The area around me is mostly large homes, malls, a few golf courses and that is it. Where do people get the idea it is dirty? Sure the parts that the turnpike runs thru isnt all great, but why build nice stuff near a highway?
I now live in Maryland, and to those from MD who knock NJ - I got news for you, I drive along I95 from Columbia to Essex every day and that strech of 95 is no prize. Also, it smells pretty bad. On the topic of highways, Maryland drivers seem to generally be terrible, but that is off the topic.
And about the gas thing, gas is cheaper in NJ and someone pumps it for me. But people are right to make fun, I sure do love paying more for less service.
I feel better now, that is all.
