Just flashed VanirBEAN v7. Ridiculously fast. Fixed my GPS issues too.
I can't wait for source to drop, these JB ROM's will be amazing.
Right now if you want the NEW 4.1 Jellybean, there are 3 to choose fromI understand how to use clockwork mod. (Have a hp touchpad). But I have never rooted an android device.
I got the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit, but I am afraid of messing something up and am looking for more specific instructions. Maybe I am just looking in the wrong places.
Also what are people seeing as the best rom for Verizon.
Thanks![]()

First install it hung at boot logo continuously. Reboot did not help. Each time I left it 15 min before battery pull. Restored to previous rom and tried again, second identical install worked, not sure what went wrong first time. Noticeably faster ui navigation. Intuitive notice bar changes, and google voice search a bit more pleasant to use. Still notice the odd slowdown/hang up with ui. Nice improvement but again could be smoother still.
Well I did it! Now on Jelly Bean using VanirBean. So far, so good.
But can you make a nandroid of it?
I haven't tried. Why should I?

Well, you can just copy over your nandroid folder to your computer once it's done so you have it backed up on your PC.
