Who tends to be more hateful conservatives or liberals.

The truth isn't hate.
 
Maybe the levels of hate that liberals have for conservatives and conservatives have for liberals is the same. However, conservatives also had and have hate directed at other groups of people, like minorities (e.g., slavery, minorities getting the right to vote, minorities gaining citizenship, etc.), women (e.g., women's right to vote), homosexuals, etc.

Now I think that liberals probably have a hatred of groups like racists and so forth, but I think that most people would say that hatred of racists is acceptable, but hatred of groups historically opposed and/or hated by conservatives isn't acceptable.

Thus, the math comes out to conservatives being more hateful than liberals.
 
Both, in my experience. Obviously here in Texas I see more mindless full of hate conservatives though (and a handful of thoughtful ones as well). But I generally find that anyone who's an acolyte of a particular party is a drone, and prone to a distinct lack of thought, which they substitute thin slogans and hate-fueled nonsense.

The democratic party is full of racists. Overt racists at that. Thing is, liberals self justify their racism by claiming that as a group, they are the ones standing against racism, hate, violence, etc. This allows them to do or say just about anything, while claiming the other guys are really the bad guys.

This isn't an opinion, you liberals prove it just about every day.

Who claimed that a black supreme court justice deserved to be "put back in the field" and "hung from a tree" because he supposedly misrepresented his finances? One example of many, seen constantly.

History shows that conservatives have opposed ending slavery, opposed allowing minorities to vote, opposed allowing women to vote, opposed minorities from obtaining citizenship, now oppose homosexuals from marrying, and so forth. It's factual that conservatives hate lots of groups as you can see.

I don't remember that happening in the US at all. The only murder that goes into a mass murder category would be conservatives deciding to betray the US and kill so many loyal Americans during the civil war.

I'm not sure how the dynamics are in other countries, but very clearly conservatives in the US are more hateful and violent than liberals in the US. It's not even close.

I think that it's the social conservative aspect, it really makes people angry.
 
If you compare how stereotypical conservatives/liberals reacted to occupy wall st and the tea party...

conservatives tended to react to OWS by calling them losers and saying they should get a job.

liberals tended to react to the tea party by calling them bigots and worried about fascism, but also said that they sympathized with the anger at the wall st. bailouts.

Why would old white people, who have already gotten theirs, and have consequently screwed over the country, who are angry that there is a black president around, care enough to be violent?

Certainly it would make sense for a large portion of the population who have been screwed over the past 20 years, especially the most recent generation, to start protesting a little more actively...

Slavery
segregation
inter-racial marriage
homosexual marriage
homosexual integration with the military
labor unions
women's right to vote
allowing women into the workforce with equal pay
civil rights

Feel free to try to list some hateful "liberal" activity.

ha! seriously, the hypocrisy of the tea party is insane. They want smaller government and lower taxes except for everything that affects them, chiefly medicare.

How do you know what the majority of people think, as in left or right?

I would say, as someone else pointed out, that it is pretty equal, there are people who argue cases on all sides that are pretty hateful.

It's like asking: Who is more hateful men, or women? Answer: equal

Actually, liberals like to say they are open minded...but if you do not agree with them you are labelel as being a hater and you should shut up.

Being tolerant does not mean you can be intolerant of views other than your own.

The difference between liberals and conservatives is that conservatives do not lie and say they are tolerant of views they disagree with. Liberals lie and say they are when they actually are not.
 
you know, the thing with conservatives is that they default to blaming individual people. OWS for instance, Megan McArdle put it best: with 9% official unemployment, someone is going to be unemployed, despite their best efforts.

but conservatives just default to mocking them and spreading a stereotype that all of them have iphones
