In case you don't recognize my name I was once Perry404 on these forums. I don't spend much time in the PR section these days.
I have shed all but my love for the honesty and truth that is Ron Paul.
I know there are many free thinkers awaiting the run by Alan Grayson, Rand Paul and others but know this, the only man that stands a chance against the majority is Ron Paul.
So I must ask...how many of you, after all that we have been through, are ready and willing to vote for Ron Paul?
In my passion to keep things interesting I must disclose something else.
A vision for the future of America, The country that God loved.
Yeah our breadbaskets have been full. Gods love however extends not only to the Jews and not only to the Americans but to the world.
Therefor he will shed his grace upon the world. What does this mean for the number crunching American? In small words It is global economy.
Inflation is good for the Chinese and the Indian. Prices in America will rise until the Chinese worker is paid the same price that the American slaves for. Have you seen that Chinese market? Within seven years you will be plucking feathers from your chickens at safeway in order to save your families money. Your insurance will be 24% of your families income. Do not curse into the air... because of this the Chinese man will be able to feed his family. Instead thank God almighty for your blessings.
Thank God almighty that your children are fed and thank God almighty that you may cuddle with them beneath a roof.

Once all is said and done they will finally understand that the the real question was...

Where will the money come from?

I would definitely vote for him, but he could never get enough votes to win.
Really? I remember him polling at 98% in online polls where people could vote more than once. His supporters assured me this would translate into similar real world results.

I would vote for him, but to be honest with you Ryan Seacrest would have a better chance of winning

I don't like his views on monetary and foreign policies, which are pretty high in my book.

Why would I wait? Ron Paul is the president. Clearly.
1) Remember, he beat Obama in the electoral college votes?
2) That was right after his electoral supporters switched from McCain and Obama to Paul.
3) Oh, that happened because Paul needed to "let" McCain get the most votes during the election.
4) But, really, McCain wasn't actually running because Paul won the Republican primary vote.
5) Paul won the primary vote because he won the online polls.
So why wait for Paul to run when he already is the current president?

Inflation is terrible. So terrible that the CPI for Dec 2009 was lower than Dec 2008. I mean inflation is horrendous! Even worse is the fact that the 2 year gain in CPI of 1.4% per year is the lowest it has been since the 1963-1965 period. Inflation is out of control! If this keeps going, prices will be far to similar to todays prices in the future. We can't let that happen! The sky is falling!

Well, truth be told, I am waiting for Joe Smoe from Kokomo to run. Other truth be told, ole Joe Smoe will probably get as many votes as Ron Paul.

But having said that, of course Ron Paul will run again, what human can resist the temptation to have another bite at 15 minutes of fame, and be the lucky recipient of all those checks that say pay to the order of Ron Paul.

As a grass roots movements, Ron Paul is simply like dandelions that sprout in spring, lots of showy color, not good for much, and by in large gone by summer.

No, I don't really care if Ron Paul runs again. I supported him last time, but America doesn't want change. They want big government, big corporations, big taxes, big corruption. They want the hollow promise of change without the commitment.

America is fucked, and I'm going to just sit back and watch the show.

If I voted this next election, and the Reps and Dem candidates for Prez and VP are as pathetic as I expect I'll probably stay home again.

There is the possibility that I might vote, and if I do it may be for Paul. Not because I am a supporter, but because I have no other way to give the Big Two parties the finger.

This. I fear this country is too full of mindless idiots, establishment knobslobbers, and partisan hacks to be saved.

I agree for the most part.

I'd like to see him run again though. He brings arguments to the table that aren't there otherwise. It has nothing to do with him winning, that's just not possible in this country full of big-government ideas from both parties.

Ron Paul pulled, what, 2% of the Republican primary vote in a race without any really strong candidates? If we make the bizarrely optimistic estimate that an equal number of Democrat primary voters would support him, that gives him 4%. If we have twenty-five equally strong candidates opposing him, he has a real chance. Otherwise - not so much.

He should run as a libertarian, where 4% of the vote is considered an accomplishment. (Long time Harry Brown voter here.)

If I see that Ron has a chance I will vote for him. Not going to waste my time otherwise. No point in going to vote for a candidate that has no chance to win. If the big parties produce a quality candidate maybe I will vote for that candidate instead, but I doubt they will produce anything other than self-idolizing political whores.

I'll vote for him. Even though he won't win, I am happier to vote for the candidate I actually want, than the split personalities of R and D.
