haha I'm kinda worried to see so little discussion here on this game today.. It either means it's total crap and nobody cares, hardly anyone bought it, or everyone who did buy it is having too much fun playing to stop and chat.

Reviews are looking BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDD! 6/10 from IGN, 7/10 from edge...ouch.

I never care for game reviews. They are almost as worthless as movie reviews. I've hated lots of 10/10 games and loved ones that got bad reviews.

After they gave MW2 a 9.5, I can only imagine what a 6.5 means. The beta was boring and I actually thought they were holding out on features, but it turns out it really is that boring. Line of scrimmage maps, unrealistic weapons, no atmosphere, and it really looks like they dedicated very little time on the game. You would think with DICE doing multi-player would give them ample time to spend on making a polished singe-player, but neither pulled off a winner.

Ouch is right. Damn. Just read both reviews, thanks. I'm a sucker for a shooter with decent atmosphere and visuals so I'll probably pick this up regardless (sooner or later).

is this your assessment, or did you just regurgitate reviewers?

He said he played the beta. You can get a feel from a game by playing the beta, especially if the beta is played days before launch which really isn't a beta at all.

Yea I really dont care to play the game at all after playing that open beta. Nothing really hooked me. Im trying to sell my copy on FS/FT as we speak LoL.

i don't know how i feel about this game. it almost feels like a step backward from bfbc2. the single player just doesn't look sound or feel as solid as bc2 did. it honestly doesn't feel as solid as the open beta multi did, which is really disappointing. i'll put some more time into it, but as for now i'm somewhat wishing i'd waited for it to go on sale. i don't know the team who did the single player (danger zone? or something?), but i can't imagine dice did this.

here's to hoping bf3 isn't...this.

Just watched the review on gametrailers.com and it sounds pretty mediocre. I really don't understand why they gave it a rating of 8/10 considering all the criticism's they gave it...

The cliffs:
-Campaign 4-5 hours long
-No cohesive story
-Nothing innovative
-No challenge/dumb AI
-Weapons have no recoil
-Only 4 modes in multiplayer
-Small maps

This was on my to buy list, but now I think I'll wait till it comes on sale for $20 or whatever.

thanks for cliffs =[

This is the buggiest piece of crap I've ever played.

There are many, but here are standouts:

-I would snipe the gunner of a truck, and the cannon would still fire, and non-stop.
-I was calling in air support in the second chapter, and for whatever reason, I would either run out of ammo, or the support I was calling in was on a coffee break. I couldn't complete the damned scene.
-I would swap a weapon, and then try to swap it back, and it would disappear into the ground.

I cannot believe this is MOH. I'm thankful I paid 30 for this last spring, instead of 50.

the multiplayer might be decent for competitive play. The maps are small enough for good 6v6 or 5v5. only time will tell. this one does seem to stand apart from BC2, maybe not graphically, but there are some gameplay difference's
