I'm not going to read the 99 replies to this thread. Instead I will add that I don't drink alcoholic beverages. I grew up in an environment where it was fine for kids to try it, so it's not like I wasn't given the chance, but I don't like alcohol, simple as that.

I'm a trustworthy person.

I just decided years ago that the way booze made me feel the next morning just wasn't worth it.

I DID used to drink, but NEVER had a drinking problem.

Uh...see..maybe that was your problem. If it made you feel bad the next morning, you obviously had to much. I don't see why some say "it just isnt my thing". Do they think that drinking means getting drunk? Having a few beers ISNT a thing, you don't get drunk, and no one is harmed, not even yourself. What is the big deal?

99% of beer I've tried gives me headaches.

Plus I don't like the way it tastes. (well except for a few REAL dark beers I've tried.)

Once again, it just isn't worth it to me.

Why do something just to be doing it, unless I get something out of it that's better that what I get from NOT doing it?

Oh ok, it gives you headaches. I never said to do it to be cool, but it seemed like some peoples reasons were stupid. I have never heard of someone getting a headache from having a beer.

I am in awe not only that you know what a Panzer IV is but some model numbers. 😀 I have no preference by the way, I love several varieties of German armor such as the Jagdpanzer, Stug III and King Tiger.

for me, if it came down to it I would take a pepsi over an alcoholic beverage for a drink

but you can't get drunk from pepsi
 
I've never had alcohol....like sat down and had a glass of wine, never went to a party and had a beer etc......i hear some cakes and dishes have small amounts in them....not sure if that counts.....but i've been sober for 20 years
 
i drink when i frag sometimes (frag 4-7 times a week,have a drink 2 or 3 of those at most)

also have one if im eating something with chilis in it

I don't drink. If you saw me near a full 12-cup coffeemaker, you'd understand why. 😉 I lead a fairly content life, so I don't have much motivation to seek an escape that way either. That's what my mountain bike is for, right? 🙂

I'll drink between 1-4 drinks probably at least once a week socially, but only really get drunk maybe once every other month or so.

I enjoy alchohol, but it doesn't rule me.
