I'd just check the most recent Yet Another Gun Thread and partner with whoever has the most guns and ammo stock piled.

I want to pop some bubbles for the engineer picks. :ninja:

After the catastrophe, there is likely no constant energy source (ie, no flowing electricity). I don't think we are at that point yet in the world where we can engineer technology off salvaged parts into a device that has its own energy source! 😉
 
I already have lots of guns and land, so probably someone with ample loot. Or maybe a doctor. Any medical doctors here (real doctors, not dentists or chiropractors)?

Good thing i have a generator and parts to build a wind turbine and a small amount of solar to charge batteries. I really think it would be pretty easy to find ways to produce electricity. Such as car alternators and a bike. I doubt the batteries at the auto parts stores will be a hot item for most places.

And I know how to wire up a three phase converter from a spare motor, I can power a bridgeport off the genset. With a bridgeport and a lathe and some metal we can make most anything.

Sounds like we need a ATOT pact for the end of times and some land out in Wyoming. Everyone should know what to bring or already have it stockpiled there. What's land out there $5/acre?

there is plenty of vacant land. no need to spend money on it.

I'd pick Mosh b/c I'm new here and apparently she's the hottest chick. Seing as how I really don't know anyone else yet it seemed like the best choice.
 
Yeah I'm about 21 posts and a few days into my visits here.

In another thread some people were thinking I could be that Hall guy or whatever his name is but I assure ya I'm not.
