Loc0tus. He lacks confidence and self-esteem which makes him an ideal target to seduce and manipulate. Once he knows what it is like to have a friend he will feel an undying need to serve and protect me, and should we find ourselves in mortal danger, I have no question that he would be willing to die for me.

Platypus is the only one of you that I'm reasonably sure is not a serial killer or an 8 year-old kid in his mom's basement :p

The gay sex thing isn't a disadvantage either. I'd rather take aidanjm, though.

texashiker probably has everything necessary to survive the apocalypse,

Thank you, I feel honored that you would post that.

though he might shoot at me as i come to mooch off his stuff

Negative, I do not have a violate nature.

For the most part, I think that people are good. People only turn bad when they feel they have no other choice.

If the catastrophe is in process, I would need a ferocious warrior devoted to their cause to fend off the invading anomalies. AzN fits those shoes with his ferverous hatred.

If the catastrophe is over, I need a good philosopher to reconstruct civilization from scratch or scavenging. Perknose has those talents.

Zebo, since he seems to be stocking up on food and ammo already. :D

He isn't all that far from me either. Perhaps I should rethink linking up with someone so that he and I can form a mutual survival partnership. Together we will could rule Eastern Oklahoma, Arkansas and just for the lulz we might go North and take over Canada.

Dr Pizza for sure. Grows own food, farms, knows physics, builds, repairs. And most farmers are good at tending to wounds.

tending to wounds? duct tape, cloth and a bottle of vodka. if you need more make sure you have a sewing kit or something sharp to amputate.

well that's no way to do business

Well you would be be living in my dictatorship, not some anarcho-syndicalist commune where everyone takes in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week.

Well I didn't ask to not live in your dictatorship, I asked if you would take on people who are willing to work. :)

If the world goes to shit, those of us with some form of trade skills will be valuable don't you think? We can't all be king.

I suppose I could let you work the fields or perhaps tend to the livestock.

There doesn't need to be a king, and I'd reject anyone's attempt to take power. I'll ally with anyone I find useful, but only on equal terms.

You're right, but when things go to shit we'll revert to more basic forms of society. Having a "dictator" who owns land and has resources wouldn't be necessarily a bad thing on a smaller scale. I would have no issue working for someone in this case, although that would be only if I couldn't regroup up with my family.

In all seriousness, Dr. Pizza.

He's got a self sustaining food supply via chickens/goats and enough land to feed them. And he has the knowledge to keep it going. Remember, you gotta feed your food. Gardening/canning/preservation? I was taught by my depression era grandfolks, as was he. We'd be fine for food.

I'd happily stand guard over this supply and hereby do make a pact to guard and defend the pizza farm and provide 1st aid and doctorship.

Zemnervolt. Dr. Pizza, Rubycon. Meltdown or Boomer would be good for growing your own food.
I am fairly certain i would fair pretty well on my own though. i have 15 gal of extra fuel and a camper with solar lighting, propane stove and heat pretty much fully stocked. enough propane to last a few months in the summer and about 2 weeks in the winter. a canoe, fishing gear, a rifle. and enough know how to extract more fuel and such from the wells and coal seams around here, also know where the coal fire and the ghost towns are.
