Argentine.Bergoglio.
we may now resume our non-catholic lives.
http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2013/03/13/cardinals-elect-new-pope/?hpt=hp_t1[Updated at 3:15 p.m. ET] And the new pope is: Argentina's Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio.
Pope FrancisI wonder what name he has chosen, that tells a lot about how he plans to act.
The Catholics around the world will be happy and celebrate a new Pope.
The haters on the other hand will continue to hate the Pope/Catholic Church.
Both of which are seen in this thread.
Is it not true that a vast majority of the abuse was of a homosexual nature?
That's not the point.
To jab you for being a complete dick in this thread. What is the point?

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2013/03/13/cardinals-elect-new-pope/?hpt=hp_t1Here's more about Pope Francis, the former Cardinal Bergoglio of Argentina: He is 76, and is considered a straight-shooter who calls things as he sees them, and a follower of the church's most conservative wing.
lolI apologize in advance for pointing out that your desire to jab dicks means you two have more in common than you think.
again I am sorry its was just right there and I am lacking impulse control today.
Ratzinger repeatedly stated he would like to retire to his house in the Bavarian village of Pentling near Regensburg and dedicate himself to writing books.
At the conclave, "it was, if not Ratzinger, who? And as they came to know him, the question became, why not Ratzinger?"[46]
On 19 April 2005, Ratzinger was elected on the second day after four ballots.[46] Ratzinger had hoped to retire peacefully and said that "At a certain point, I prayed to God 'please don't do this to me'...Evidently, this time He didn't listen to me."
LOL. I did not know that about Benedict.
You get to change your name once you become Pope? What???
Is it not true that a vast majority of the abuse was of a homosexual nature?
I am very curious as to why he selected Francis. Saint Francis was very big on poverty and felt the holiest of people could only come from being impoverished - that material wealth made you feel God was not as important.
I wonder if this marks the beginning of the Catholic Church reducing its material wealth?
