White couple gives birth to a Surprise Black baby!!!!!1111111

At least, it was from a sperm bank. I've read stories of a "surprise <insert race not of the father or mother>" baby and the mother claiming it is a miracle! I even read one one where a lady gave birth to "twins", one white and one black. Medically, it wasn't a miracle, just an anomaly that she had two eggs fertilized by two different "sperm donors" in a short period of time. Of course, her idiot husband believed her that it was a miracle...

What's interesting is these sperm banks advertise to get men to donate sperm.... But when you go there they will see if you qualify. One of the things they don't say is most women want "White Men" sperm. A "perfect donor" would be....

1. White Male
2. No History of genetic disease (cancer, Heart disease etc...)
3. High IQ
4. High Income (VP, CEO etc..)
5. Highly Educated with an Ivy League degree

They also look at weird things (criminal history in family or you, alcohol use, smoking)

Then you can pretty much guarantee you will be made hundred - thousands per sample...
 
What I don't understand is why being highly educated would have anything to do with your genes. It is far more likely a product of your environment.
 
I wonder how often sperm banks mix up samples and no one is the wiser. Mixing up the race is about the only way they can get caught I guess. All the other times it would just be a baby of the proper race composition, but not necessarily the specific donor she chose. If the donor supposedly had blonde hair and the baby comes out with brown hair or some other inconsistent trait, there's always the gene expression argument to explain that. If the baby comes out mulatto that's harder to bullshit your way out of.

That's not what people believe.

Although I do agree environment plays a large role. I do believe genes gives you the disposition. However, there is no guarantee. I think women will feel more comftable saying they bought sperm from a man that went to Harvard v.s. a man who went to Bumfuck Community college.
 
It's possible for two white people to have a black kid you know. 😛 Though even for those with some black ancestry it's extremely rare.

Yes,

There was a famous case in South Africa where two white parents gave birth to a full black daughter. They fought like hell to get her define as "white". This was during the Apartheid.

Is there actually any scientific evidence that it was some kind of recessive trait and not simply the more logical explanation: she had sex with someone of that race and won't tell her hubby?

I have seen this before...well sort of.

Two "White" looking people had like 7 or 9 kids (don't remember the exact amount) and two of the kids sure looked different to a major degree. They were faithful to each other and I know that for a fact. Many "White" looking people would be surprised what genes they have if they did a DNA test I am sure.
