Light rye with caraway is like crack, seriously. I'm damn addicted to it & it's my kryptonite. Nothing beats corned beef or tuna or grilled cheese or pastrami or a tongue sandwich on seeded rye....

Pumpernickel [real pumpernickel, not dark rye] is next best, then Miami onion rolls, then bulkie rolls.

For subs, nothing beats a fresh crisp French bread.

For a lox & cream cheese shmear, can't get any better than on a toasted onion bagel.

PB&J is best on whole wheat, fluffernutter on white.

Wouldn't have to work out so hard if I could give up my bread addiction.

I prefer ciabatta bread if i get a choice, that and some marinated chicken breast is awesome, add some salad tomato and garlic sauce and you have a meal.

white bread is boring.

Rye and Pumpernickel are where it's at, Or, really NO comparison, Zucchini bread ... mmmm.
Also, Garlic bread is awesome, nom nom nom

bread does quite well in the fridge. also great in the freezer for long term.

bread freezes well. however, bread goes stale 3x faster in the fridge than in a breadbox (according to martha stewart) and starts to taste funky and stale within a day, even in a sealed bag (according to cooks illustrated).

That hasn't been my experience at all. For staleness, fridge, and box are about the same. Putting it in the fridge forestalls mold development, and keeps much longer for me.

Hate the taste of rye bread. Wheat is just fine though. I prefer it over white bread.

White bread is only good for making french toast and I guess grilled cheese.
