I can't believe so many people voted for Houston. The weather is hot as fsck (and no it's not "dry heat" like Arizona"). The city is dominated by thick smog, 12 lane roads, Baptist Churches and Walmarts the size of football stadiums, and populated with fat Texans who work in oil refineries. Positively hellish.

If I had to live in a big city, I would go with Chicago. It has most of the fun stuff New York has, but its easier to live in. You can actually bring a car in and out of Chicago pretty easily, and drive it around town. Also, I'm not rich so I couldn't live well in NY. Chicago is like the poor man's New York, which is good for me.

Houston suburbs is a whole bunch of sprawl but it does have a decent urban core, I think they're making a subway system. Out of those cities I would pick NYC.

I picked NYC

New York- I love the city, love the culture, there's always something to do.
Philly- I've lived outside of it my entire life and need a change.
Baltimore- Eww, no.
Chicago- Would be my second choice, I love the city, and the Cubs. The Bears suck though.
Houston- I'm not a Texas man.

i'll list them when the US finally annexes canada as the 51st state.

that will never happen :|

well i used to live in vancouver, and love toronto. but canada does not accept US trained docs to practice there.

I have a cousin who's a neurosurgeon (sp?) and he worked here for 2 years). He was trained in the US.

Cheers,

well it's not impossible, but it's extremely difficult because of their government run health care system. let's just say it's the exception, not the norm.

NYC. I've only been to NYC and Balitmore on that list and between those NYC owns... Baltimore is a nasty looking place.... NYC is also much closer to home for me.

I've been all over the midwest and south. I've never been to either coast, so can't speak for them.

Chicago for me. It's a BIG small town.... people acutally stick up for one another and stuff... It's a nice place...

Considering they're all in the same climate except Houston...

Narrow it down to NYC (probably most exiting city in the US, but bad weather like the other northeast ones)

Houston (nice weather, but has the fattest people on average in America)
that fatest city thing is bullsh!t. we get points deducted because the land is flat. hello, like anyone walks up hills even when they have them.
