PM me for details.

this isn't a deal at all. if you look hard enough you can find much better deals relatively speaking.

Optimum Protein Double Chocolate is pretty awesome. I lot of people like Optimum and Prolab, both good brands you can't go wrong with.

I'll second this, but I've only had chocolate...how are the other flavors?

Try here. I got my 10lb chocolate whey protein from there but I'm sure there are better deals off of FW or here. NEVER order from GNC. When I first started out, I ordered from them also and not only is it expensive but their crap tastes real bad!

GNC's products are over-priced. It's directed at people that are just starting off so take it from me .. a guy who first made that mistake.

The only time GNC was reasonable was if you took the gold card discount plus their montly sale of something 25% off or so.. made it an ok deal then...

What a tool! Why post that even?

Obviously you don't have experience when you need the extra nutrition.

When I was in my peak shape (about 4 years ago) I needed to eat about every 4-6 hours, even if I wanted to only eat 3 meals a day I'd have a hard time eating that much in 3 settings and it's doubtful my body would even process it right.

However a 'protein' or meal-replacement shake is simple to stick in a bag and down right at your desk, and when you are eating all the time, eating becomes work and less enjoyable anyway.

Another thing is if I were to pay for high protein and low fat food for every meal, it would be very expensive...and again finding ways to carry these foods with me and not have them spoil and preparation become difficult. Not to many employers will allow 4 hours of an 8 hour day to be spent cooking, eating and cleaning up after it, and even the argument about well prepare everything in advance doesn't take into account reheating the food or cleaning up after. Plus you need a place to store the meals as well as time at night to make them, it can be done....just that making two meals 'instant' is a nice alternative.

It is true though that most people on supplements are wasting their money and possibly making it harder for themselves to lose weight by adding too many calories.

I have started back in the gym everyday, but I am not supplementing yet....most of the times I still skip a meal....once I put on some more muscle my calorie needs will rise and as I start getting hungry or low energy I will add what I need.

cuz extra meals would include stuff i dont want along with the desired protein levels. id be gettin extra fat/carbs/etc in my diet with added meals that i wont be gettin with protein supplements. kapish?

and no, im not on any kind of high protein, low carb diet. just that those added carbs from the extra meals would be really hard to burn off
