Where have the Republicans gone?

Please don't let this turn into a poo-slinging thread, I'm just curious. There used to be plenty of lively discussion and occassional (more than not?) flames between the left and the right here. Now it seems like one team has just marched (trudged?) from the field, not to be heard from again. Are they that speechless? When will they return?

:wine:

Depending on how the democrats do in office there may be a return of them sometime in the future. America just had an election where the democrats won.

I have been posting less for quite some time. I just got tired of having the same debate over and over.

Might have been the "why was my 5 threads locked post"

Anyhow, losing both the house and senate must have been hard for some of the "neo-cons" - but like getting herpies on a bangkok weekend, they don't go away for long....

/me thinks many of them are still licking their wounds from Tuesday's "whuppin"...They'll be back as soon as the Dems start to fvck up...

If it's true about Professional John, that's too bad...he was fun...

I tried to warn him that a call-out on the Mods was not acceptable, and that I didn't understand why they let the thread run as long as they let it go.

Must be the old adage of 'Give them enough rope and they'll hang themselves'.

Tried to find the thread and see if there was a warning issued to him, but it's been purged from the forum.

They've just lost the debate for the time being. The turning point for them was when no WMD were found in Iraq. To their credit, a lot of them said they would shut up if not WMDs were found and they kept their word.

If Clinton becomes the next president, they'll probably come back.

I haven't noticed much change. But then again, I'm a little "burnt" on politics ATM. Felt like I "OD'd" on it during the election.

It's a good time to pay more attention to football anyway.

Hope PJ didn't get banned. But that does seem to be the fate many espousing conservative views "shrug".

Looks like his thread was moved to Forum Issues. No moderator comment indicating he was vacationed, however. I just think his contract ran out.

😉

He should have to refund the money he was paid too.

Nope that's not the one - the one where I told him that the Mods didn't like call-outs, especially to them, was over 20 posts long.

Before the conservatives whine too much, the only forums I see go crazy on banning opposing views are the right-wing sites, like redstate.org.

In contrast, a liberal site like salon.com gives half its blog coverage to the right, in the Dao report.

You always need something to laugh and point fingers at. 😉

After the expose of Foley, Haggard and all their hypocritical BS, they be spending their time licking each others wounds.

My mistake, I remember that one now that you mention it.
