As a republican, I'm still here. Personally, I'm tired off all the democratics that blame the republicans for everything wrong (esp. Bush). I am also tired of the "circle jerk" of the libs in this message board.

Since the "democratics" won. I'm watiting to see what ideas they will come up with. Its their chance to help the Iraqi people and NOT to screw up the economy. I hope they succeed in both cases.

Its the democratics time to shine or fail... put up or shut up :) if they fail, the republicans will be back in 2008. If they succeed, I couldn't be happier. I am an American. I like it when AMERICANS succeed.. even if they are democratics :)

People (libs) on this board seem to not care about Americans in general.. they just hate Bush and the Republicans. It blinds them..

i'm not a "Republican," but I'm still here to show the leftists at P&N how ridiculous they are every day.

good times.

Well at least thanks for your open and honest hate for America.
I can't think of anything more hateful to America than subjecting it to a Dave McOwen presidency. :p

Don't they have the courage to stay and defend their convictions? I'm making fun of the ones who were all fluff and now that things didn't go there way, they "cut and run". You want to defend them?

Which ones are you talking about? JEDIYoda and ProfJohn are the only two Republican and/or conservative members I can think of at the moment. One of them was vacationed and the other is still here.

EDIT: Well, it appears you're right about Pabster who has been posting less lately. Doesn't change the fact that most right of center members here were banned well before the election even became a hot topic.
There are plenty of conservative, Republican, and/or Bush-supporting members here. In this thread alone I see Whoozyerdaddy, charrison, CaptnKirk (though not a fan of the Bush administration), Jaskalas, nutxo, JEDIYoda, Stunt, EagleKeeper, and JD50. (Apologies if I've mischaracterized anyone.) I've always considered alchemize to be one as well, though I see he says otherwise. I'll take him at his word. In any case, some of them are respected, others not so much.

Yeah - I've been a lifelong Republican - but when the Evangelistic Right and their False Conservatism stole my party, I won't have anything to do with them until they purge the vile creatures and get back to being progressive for the country's good - not their own win at all costs, Permanent GOP Corporate for God attitude.
McCain is a poster boy for untrustworthiness as a politician as well - he's damaged merchandise and I don't want him to represent that which he failed to work to keep from squandering the future of the country.

Until the housecleaning cycle is complete I'll vote more Independent - they have a long way to go to regain my trust.

Oh, I'm sure they've all scurried off to their favoriate echo chamber of "ideas," Freeper Central.

Interesting how you spot the same memes over there as you do from the "conservative" posters over here. At least P&N is a marketplace of ideas regardless of ideology, whereas the "Free" Republic, you HAVE to be a Republican/Conservative to join, thereby insuring that you only have to read or hear things that you agree with.

Sounds awesome, huh?

I suspect they will do nothing but launch fruitless witch hunts in an attempt to position themselves for 08.

Personally I think that will backfire, as John Q public is sick of that stuff.

The Dem's plan could be "stay the course" and you'd still whine about it.

Sounds like a battle between Freeper Central and P&N
