The left has repeatedly preached hate and violence, by their leaders no less. The violent acts done against anyone on the right, are either ignored and very much downplayed compared to acts done to the left.

I don't know if you actually belive this or you are trying to support your own private narrative but you need to go look at the figures for political violence. Violence from the right outnumbers that from the left by orders of magnitude.

About 10 years ago I was one of the conservative posters. Realizing the republican party is more about hate and bigotry than about responsible finances, coupled with facts consistently being on the side of progressives, didn't allow me to remain in that political space.

Where have they all gone, you ask ???
Don't you get it people? They all have joined this CULT.
This Donald Trump cult also known as THE BLACK HOLE cult of all cults.
Typically, a cult can absorb a few members. Possibly even hundreds on certain occasions.
But... AN ENTIRE POLITICAL PARTY?
Woof! Golly Miss Molly.
That's a new record for any cult.

I've been saying around here for some time now. Just think of what is happening AS A CULT.
Simple, and explains everything we are witnessing.
And like with your average black hole, this cult of Donald Trump seems to absorb everything that comes in contact.
Well at least, everything branded republican.

I keep saying this. Warning people of THE CULT.
And finally, I see this catching on within the mainstream news media.
CNN has called this a CULT. Bill Maher has called this a CULT on his show.
People are realizing this FOR WHAT IT IS.... THIS Donald Trump CULT.
And how does one wedge loose their friend or family member from a cult?
Well... usually it takes an intervention.
The intervention has been known to work in freeing one out of that seemingly endless.black hole.
But an entire political party? How does one rescue an entire political party?
Geez. Got me....
That's one for the professionals. The Ghostbusters professional of cult redemption.

I mean, just look at this...
They are so admired with Donald Trump that they are willing to give up their American patriotism.
They are willing to cheer and praise communist dictators like Kim Jon-Un and Vladimir Putin, as does their leader.
They are willing to jail any friend, family, or neighbor that dare disagree with them. AND....
They are willing to MURDER AND KILL.
Yes! True!

They are willing to plant bombs, are willing to murder the innocent, even within the house of prayer and worship.
For this cult and its members, IT DOESN'T MATTER.
If the leader gives them their instructions, always by using code words, then they simply obey and do his every bidding.
And no one can deny this. We have seen it with our own eyes. We see this every night pasted across the nightly news.
We all watch this horror unfold before us.
We all have seen with our own eyes what this cult can and will inflict onto others.
And we have all witnessed the carnage that its members can produce.
People! IT'S A CULT. Plain and simple.

Haha, good one sportage. This forum doesn't need conservatives, its participants invent plenty of strawmen/bogeymen just fine, no actual interactions required.

Better question is why does the left wing of the forum stay when it's become such an echo chamber? I sometimes post here when the mood strikes me, but very rarely. Certainly if posters were more intelligent and varied I'd post here more often. But if everyone here thought the same way I do, or at least substantially similar, well, I wouldn't even give it a second glance. What would be the point?

It’s odd to post on a forum about how posting on that forum is beneath you.

The ultimate truth is that the "Conservative" members are quite happy with Trump and his doings. I don't hear of any push back from them over it. I see no disagreement from them toward the out right trolls that speak in the favor of the Gop and Trump. You see, "Conservatives" are fighting a little proxy war, having their scum doing their dirty work for them. The "Conservatives" track record speaks for it self. Racism, bigotry towards gays and lesbians, transgenders, misogynistic attitudes are the flavor that keeps those pie-eyed Gop stooges running back to the table for more.

The only time one sees push back is when it's pointed out to them. oh, no - it's the fault of the left wing, it's the media - it couldn't be the people who kill in the name of the GOP!

It couldn't be that their entire idea of what their party is a sham and is exactly shown to be that for all to see.... oh, "But, Hillary!" What is happening is exactly what "Conservatives" want.

lol.

How so? I think most think P&N has gotten worse post Trump.

I see liberals saying "fuck your feels" to conservatives posters who suffers from short term memory loss, obvious and excessive projection, outright lying, continuous disingenuous concern, and racist overtones. Meanwhile conservative posters will just continue to blame liberals with no sense of self awareness, introspection, etc...

P&N libs overall are simply not playing the games the conservative posters want them to.

I, for one, won't suffer the fools and have much less patience.

Not exactly what I said, and note the operative term rarely, but I look at places like this as a chance to hone my ability. Conversing with the Sam Harris equivalents of the world requires a very different skill-set than Anita Sarkeesian equivalents, much less a mob of them. Which isn't to say that I'm the former or that this forum is the later - but it's certainly closer to the later (and people nearer the former by and large don't suffer existing as part of an echo chamber). And hell, I'll admit it, sometimes punching down can be fun.

That said, I also often don't see eye to eye with the conservative wing, such as the current 14th amendment debate, but by and large I respect them so much more than I do the liberals here. Both because they tend to be polite while everyone around them acts like raging spoiled children, and because they've decided to insert themselves into an uphill battle versus a liberal majority. That at least is worthy of something, and the corollary is also true.

Ackmed did post about wanting to say worse things from the likes of slow or taj but he was afraid of being banned.

There is a metric ton of crazy just waiting to bust forth from him it sounds like.

Trump brings out the best in everybody, huh?

What's going on is that Conservatives are too stubborn to admit that Trump is a huge mistake. They'd rather stay silent than admit to it, other than the raver faction. Yeh, sure, they were rightfully pissed off but using voting as an anger management tool isn't a good idea, as Michael Moore points out-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlKiYV47NBw

Unlike Moore, I figure it's not too late for Conservatives to come to their senses. It's not really that hard. It just takes some introspection & getting honest with oneself.
