Let's see... Thursday night: in the Chinese food place down town; Friday, I ate dinner at the Kopper Keg (fish fry), Saturday night I had dinner at the Still Water Inn (2 rib eye steaks & 1 pound of broiled shrimp for only $26). Last night, living room (roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, etc.), tonight, who knows. Tomorrow night, wing night & dollar drafts.

I only eat at the dinner table if I have family over. If it's friends, it's the living room.

I eat at the dinning room table when the family is there, and at the table in the kitchen nook if it is just me eating. I do not allow food to be consumed anywhere else in my house. Civilized people eat at the table. We sit with each other and talk. We do not watch TV, we do not have phones or electronics at the table.

Kitchen has a built-in desk that has a laptop on it. You'll seldom see me anywhere else except on nights we eat dinner together, then it's the kitchen table. I think we've probably used our formal dining room a dozen times in the 8 years we've been in this house.

When I was single, I'd eat in front of the computer.

They make great rooms to have a table big enough to play board / card games on so they are still useful.

Probably 50/50 split between dining table and TV/sofa. Our kitchen is too small for a kitchen table/breakfast area.

Kitchen table with wife and kids. I have a thing about being home for dinner and having us all sit Down at the table. I really feel a sense of loss if I miss dinner with my kids because of work.

A couple nights a week the wife and I will eat something small with the kids at 6 and eat dinner at nine after they go to bed but I'm getting too

otherwise, at the coffee table in my living room (if I'm watching tv) or at my desk in my home office (my desk is an old dining room table, so that makes me feel a little better)

my apartment is supposed to have a dedicated dining room, but I use it as an extention of the living room instead (it's where I keep my bar, bookcases, and storage chests)

Most days we eat breakfast/lunch together as well.
