Bought a really nice table & chairs when we bought our house. I think we've eaten at it 6, maybe 8 times at most since we moved in. It's been a year.

Mostly eat on the couch in the living room.

We were discussing this at work today and the general consensus is people don't generally sit down in their dining rooms and eat anymore. So, where do you eat?

IF we are eating as a family (not as often as we used to) we eat at the table. otherwise i eat at my desk.

between the two kids we have something going on almost every evening.

If you are talking about dinner, as much as possible, we sit at our kitchen table.

We will also sometimes sit in the family/TV room around the coffee table if there is a show on that we all want to watch (My wife and kids like shows like American Idol, X Factor and the like. I like to eat with my family.)

We bought the dining room set from the people we bought the house from. We use if for special dinners, like holidays or if we have guests. We use it about once a month (more in November/December, obviously).

Otherwise, see my response above.
