Where do you buy your groceries?

Just curious. I split my normal grocery shopping between Fresh n Easy and Trader Joes (alternate weeks). Other places that I'll stop in for a specialty item is AJ's Fine Foods and Whole Foods; Safeway or Fry's if I need to run out quick for something pretty generic.

Wal-Mart. We have an Elmer's Country Market (and Super-One) but I never go to those. I should though to get the sales they have on some stuff. Wal-Mart is just so easy and cheap though.

Wal-Mart for everything except meat, fruits, vegetables. For those I go to the local shop as the meats and produce are always fresh, cheaper, and local.

H.E.B. for all produce and meats and the vast majority of other edible things. Sam's Club for bulk dogfood, cat litter, paper towels etc.

I don't ask my wife where she gets groceries and she don't ask me where I get computer parts.

I have a publix just outside my condo downtown. I just started getting into the habit of waiting for the Saturday Morning Market, a self explanatory event that has really fresh produce. But the publix does great. You guys might not have them up north. I'm reading some names that you guys have thrown out and I'm scratching my head.

Kroger and Lowe's Foods mostly. I go to my local farmer's market when I can for veggies/fruits as they are cheap and delicious and fresh. For certain things, I sometimes venture into Whole Foods. Surprisingly their produce is sometimes cheaper, and the bulk bins for grains and spices are wonderful.

I grab random things that I know I need every time I go to Wal Mart.

When I actually go 'grocery shopping,' which hasn't happened in a very long time now that I think about it, I compare the sale prices between Wal Mart and two regional chains.

box stuff and canned good we get from either walmart or sams club.

fresh fruit, veggies we get from another store and meat we usually get from the meat market
