But the publix does great. You guys might not have them up north. I'm reading some names that you guys have thrown out and I'm scratching my head.

I live in St Pete too, where is this SatMornMarket?

I buy groceries at a corner market which has almost everything I need. I get my meat from the butcher a few blocks down. In the spring, summer and fall I get my produce from a local street market. I avoid large chains when possible.

I'm on a college campus, so mostly from "HarryMart" (think slimmed down food section of a drug store on campus), Wallgreens, and Pathmark.

Mostly Costco (every ~2 months), local big market (every ~ 2-3 weeks) that specializes is a great variety of produce.

That and some Trader Joe's (mainly wine)

Just curious. I split my normal grocery shopping between Fresh n Easy and Trader Joes (alternate weeks). Other places that I'll stop in for a specialty item is AJ's Fine Foods and Whole Foods; Safeway or Fry's if I need to run out quick for something pretty generic.

They sell groceries? :Q

They sell Pepsi! :D I bought a case of diet there on sale. I don't know that you would call that groceries.

My Dad had a sweet setup when he lived in downtown Vancouver, BC. His condo was on the 15th-ish floor of a highrise, and you could see the IGA from it. It was also conveniently on the way back from work. He'd pretty much stop in every night for something for dinner. I wish that were the case for me. I hate buying a week's worth of food.

He went to this one: http://www.google.com/maps?f=q...18046&t=h&z=16&iwloc=B

His condo was right where smithe makes a jog over into haro street. (between the alley and Smithe)

In phoenix we have Fry's Electronics, Fry's music stores, and Fry's grocery store (rebrand of kroger, they actually have products labeled kroger some times). None of which are affiliated. kind of odd, but I got use to it.

frys food has been here longer than the others tho, so i always thouoght it was funny saying i was going to frys to buy puter parts.

i usually shop at frys, they have consistently lower prices than safeway, bashas and albertsons. if im in an area without a frys i end up going to whatever i am near.
