Nope. I had said that in the same post where I said The Mrs was never expected to leave gracefully. If the vile one gets dumped in 2020 he of course would never accept it gracefully. In fact as long he is alive he will try to hog attention.

As much as I didn’t like his presidency Bush Jr has shown a lot of class in remaining dignified and above all the usual stuff.

Not in terms of the actual output of their actions. Kissinger of course is a monster, a most vile mass murderer. Ted Bundy and company are playground bullies compared to creatures like him. But in terms of major public figures (not counting the current vile one who has not been in politics), these two stand out for me for not having any semblance of conscience or decency. But then again, when you start talking about politicians, big shots in most fields, you are talking of people who have spent their entire lives chasing the demands of their never ending egos...so it is not really something very constructive to talk about or make comparisons. In that sense, I agree with you. I would much rather talk about the innocence and beauty of a squirrel I was watching the other day. I can go on and on about that!
 
That Kissinger, that son of a bitch, has such a dignified status in our society, goes to all these events as keynote speaker and what not, both by left and right (again, the same people really) says a lot about our society and its internal moral bankruptcy. And by the way, didn't we invade Afghanistan because they refused to give up Bin Laden?

Hilary Clinton was just robotic, staged, filtered and had little charisma, at least in her later years. She as not vicious IMO. I have no idea where you get that from.

I'd love to go back and see her earliest speeches and things and see if she just started getting super filtered with herself due to all the vicious attacks on the Clinton name in general. I'm pretty sure that's all it was. She was no Bond Villain dude.

Another question is where are the Republicans? Not one word from any major R about what’s being done to children at the border. I know the primary concern for any politician is self interest which means following your tribe. But would have thought at least one or two would have shown some humanity. It definitely has become the party of the vile one.

Even politically it doesn’t seem very smart. A lot of voters are not diehard members of either party. So these Rs are alienating potential voters. But guess they are in a bind. If they speak they would get de facto exiled from the party, that is, lose influence and status within the party. Ah...the conundrums of having no conscience. The life of a politician

Pixel, to answer your question, Democrats are in the minority with zero power, right where America put them. If you want them to get shit done, get the GOP out of the way. Until the GOP is put in timeout, asking why the Democrats aren't doing x is fucking futile.
