I was at the zoo looking at elephants and somebody, I think it WAS Maureen Dowd, said, "They are filled with air". All those times I road them and made sure they didn't step on my foot........Geez, what a dummy I am. How the fuck could I have trusted my very own eyes and senses instead of listening to Moron Dowd?

I think Dowd is quite perceptive on matters of human character, although she can be bitchy. certainly I'd be more interested in her insights into Obama's character than for example your insights - you have suspended any kind of critical faculty in this regard.
at any rate, Dowd paints Obama as a bit of a wimp and lacking in chivalry to boot. she's talking about a quality of "brittleness" - when he's put to the test, will he shatter?

No brittleness, I take it.....

um, I know what I read. From you, I see a bunch of mindless cheerleading for obama. so it appears you are part of the cult of personality of obama. that's the way it looks.

I'd say it's not about how I appear, it's more about a suspicion of the mob and mob behaviors. I wonder why a whole bunch of people are behaving in a way that doesn't quite make sense.

what you see in him might not be the reality. he might be a clueless fvckwit who starts world war 3.

You know as much about Obama as I do, nothing at all, and yet you assassinate his character in some back handed way, quoting the criticism of somebody else as if they were YOUR hero. It was Clintonesque, I thought, if you know what I mean. If you don't have the moral fortitude not to bash somebody you know nothing about, why should I be any different, not that I actually am.

what you describe as character assassination might just be a realistic appraisal of this guy's personality. time will tell I suppose.

The thing is that he can, and will make change in Washington...
Although they both vote similar, and want very similar things, Hilary wont be able to get anything done in washington, it will be "business as usual". She may want to do things, but will get too much fight from the right to effect any real change. Brack can do it. He can bring the other side together , at least enough to pass legislation.
In summary. Hillary = more of the same... Obama = change.

There is no "Bradley Effect".
