My month:

"Hi, I'm you're garbage disposal and I'm dead."

Cat1: My teeth hurt. Off to the vet, cha ching.

Cat2: I'm feeling sick...I might die. Off to the vet, cha ching.

"Hi, I'm you're oven and I'm dead. Repairing me will cost 70% of the cost of a new oven."
Off to the oven store.
"Hi, I'm the oven salesperson. They all suck now, want to buy a service contract?"

Cat3: I'm feeling sick...I might die. Off to the vet, cha ching.

"Hi, I'm your house, pay the property tax yet? It's due ya know."

"Hey, over here! I'm the sewing machine. Cough, cough, flop."

how often do you use the sewing maching that it actually died?

Me, I never use it. My wife uses it every week. She makes most of her own clothes now and sells some stuff she sews.

I have one cat. There are times where I enjoy it and there are times where it feels like the worst thing my wife ever conned me into. More the latter than the former overall.

Guys with cats, especially multiple cats, are creepy.

Add to that owning a sewing machine which is used often enough to break, and you've got a big stew of creeper-status.

Now, if he's married or has an SO in the house, it's a little different 😛

OP - have you refinanced your mortgage to save some $$$?

We're watching the rates. We're five years into a 15 yr at 5.125 right now so rates have to get pretty low to make it worth the closing costs of a refi.

The verdict on cat3 is twenty one days of antibiotics, twice a day. Pilling cats is almost as much fun as setting one's own armpit hair on fire.

And how much did that set you back?

Yeah, I hear that. Good luck man. Might want to invest in plenty of bandages and anti-biotic ointment.
