Don't get me wrong, I am sure there are plenty of inteligent people here on AnAnd. I don't however think that 55% of everyone on here is above the 140 mark with 29% of that amount above 150.

I don't really know whether I'm more right or left-side oriented... I majored in liberal arts areas in college (english lit/sociology), but I also took a number of science and math classes that I liked a lot, and after graduation, got a job in IT.

According to a test that I took...somewhere between the ages of 10 and 14, I'm like 168, however I seriously doubt that IQ actually stays constant from young age to old. I'd imagine it's weighted for younger ages, and since I more or less had a high school education by the time I went to middle school, I'd say that my score was wrong. Supposendly IQs can't drop, but I don't believe that.

Btw, I'm ambidextrous and am fairly competent in both liberal arts and mathematical/logical things, but don't possess any overwhelming skill in either, so am I left or right brained? I'd say my liberal arts skills are slightly stronger however, but probably because I've read so much more than I've done mathematical and logical things on my own.

I have no idea what my "real" IQ is. Never been tested as far as I know.

It seems like any valid IQ test would have to test you over the course of weeks, if not months.

People's mental acuity changes day by day, with their mood, with what they've eaten and probably with the position of the moon.

No that isn't true. The ASVAB is the test you take to join the military but like most tests it going by percentile. I'm sure that most rocket scientists that work for the military are private contractors or work for something like Boeing but are on a milatary base.

I got all 97-99 percentiles in every category except mechanical (49 percentile). Does that mean I am a genius? Hell no! I just did better than most on the test for the group of people that took the test...and i remember this test and my iowa basic skills test from 8th grade cause those were the best tests in my life.

Also, everyone bragging about their genius IQ's are all very very good at math but quite a few admit to not being very good with grammar.

Hey, I did the opposite, or at least on standardized testing I do better on verbal/grammar than on math.
Might inflate my results though, since many people seem to be good at verbal or math and not both, whereas I'm decent at both, yet I couldn't compare to a math genius or verbal genius.

Altough i did choose 150 myself..

But my IQ was 140 when i was 11, so i assume it's higher now since im much smarter (In my opinion..).
