There's only been a few times where I actually prepaid. When covid first started mostly, I figured if I can avoid going in I will. But most of the time I would forget and start pumping before prepaying so end up going in anyway. I tend to just do it that way since I usually pickup a chocolate bar or coffee or something at same time. I'm already spending over $100 so what's another couple bucks on a snack. :p

Looks like we're getting a small temporary break here.

Pointless temporary vote buying measure that only kicks in if Ford is re-elected. Meanwhile he is only taking half the cut from private online casinos compared to brick and mortar casinos...

Not sure how that makes a difference? There are actually lot of people here too just not as crammed together as big cities. Big city people are often oblivious to the fact that there is more to the world than big cities. It's like the people who think "up north" is Barrie lol.

42k is not a lot of people. And I have been to empty places. Like Patagonia. And I live maybe 4 km away from cattle and farm land.

Oh I agree, lot of the stuff he's been doing is only to buy votes, including refunding license plate stickers. But I'll take it, I guess lol.

Today, $3.60 for gallon of regular at Costco. I would be willing to pay $10+ a gallon if that translated to 75% reduction in traffic.

In Texas thats called a "toll road". They used to a have reasonable tolls, but starting last year the prices have really gone up. And heaven forbid you drive an 18 wheeler. You will pay up to $15 - per direction!

Heavier vehicles do the most damage to the road, so it's only fair they pay the most. Trucking companies can include those costs in their service fees.

I filled up for $3.69/gal just now. But, I saw other stations selling for $3.62. I could have saved 77¢ !!! ( East Texas Shell station )

My wife's Audi is a TDI and diesel is killing us. Used to be $2.35-$2.80 range and now it's over $5.00 :( She gets 38MPG but the cost/efficiency advantage is eaten away. My BMW 335i takes premium at $4.60-$4.80/gal and gets 28MPG, so it's almost less expensive to drive that.

Just paid $3.56 for gallon of regular at Sam's Club. Just 1 month of gas savings alone is paying for my annual Sam's Club membership vs if I filled up at QT or some other gas stations.

Filled up yesterday at Sam's Club Tallahassee at $3.79.9. That's the lowest it's been in a month.

Saw 4.25 on the highway but came to Costco, it's at 3.85 - biggest disparity I've seen yet. Usually Costco has been just 20 cents better

Price is 3.75 at the station I pass here in Austin. Down about a quarter from a couple weeks ago.

Still 10 cents a kWh at home.

$3.99 around here. Ohio was $4 near the MI and KY border but $3.45 in the middle.

Not sure if this counts, but I just checked prices at my propane supplier of propane and propane accessories, and it's up to about $5.4/gallon. The most I ever paid was $2.6 in 2013, but it has typically averaged around $2 the last 10 years.

My last fill was in November at $2.51/gallon and I have about 25% left (500 gallon tank), so I think I can coast until the summer if/when prices are lower.

If I need to, I can probably set something up to heat my home with my BBQ grill and my car...

Still $1.80/litre here in northern Ontario. As a side note it seems the price of lumber went down slightly. A 2x4x8 is $8.98 now, it was at 9 something a while back, close to $10. I would have assumed the gas prices would have drove it up past $10. It's not summer yet though, the prices usually start going up again in summer, and add these gas prices to the mix.

$1.94/litre here.

It's been fluctuating a bit, it even went back to 1.99 for a bit, but overall it's not really going down.

Even price of lithium went up like 400% in the past year so EVs are going to continue being out of reach for most as well. They really have us by the balls it seems. No matter what, we're going to pay.
